Banana Acid at Night School

  • International Museum of Surgical Science 1524 North Lake Shore Drive Chicago, Illinois, 60610 United States (map)

Bananas can thrive in theatrical and visual places, they are quite versatile and expressive.

They can exist in the North or the South so long as they are provided the infrastructure to succeed. Bananas are often victimized due to their color or location and not given the proper chance to live up to their creative potential. Not all bananas want to be eaten whole or made into bread or cake, sometimes bananas can have a whole new world of possibilities inside their psyche. To cut off a bananas creativity is to cut off the peel and toss it aside, it makes them less than whole and very prone to being smushed.

Banana Acid plays at IMSS with live visuals for night school.

Banana Acid is a collective of improvisers and multi-instrumentalists:

Aaron Kaufman-Levine

Caroline Jesalva

Erez Dessel

Garrett Frees

Tyler Wagner
